What seemed to be the perfect hunt

Bhuvneshwar got the new ball moving, pulling an outside edge off Buttler's first ball and then getting past Samson's inside edge in the same over. They were his 45th and 46th first-over wickets in T20 cricket, now just one behind Shaheen Shah Afridi's 47 and level on 27 in the IPL.

In the second over, Bhuvneshwar also found some swing, but it was met by the wide-swinging bat of Parag, who hit him for two fours and a six. It was a nonchalant, contemptuous shot. Jaiswal was more respectful but just as powerful. His shot at the start of the fourth over went straight to Cummins at mid-off, but the SRH skipper dropped it. Cummins was then hit for two fours and a monstrous six over long-leg. In the next over, Abhishek Sharma dropped Parag at extra cover. It was a testament to the consistency of their batting that the highest asking rate hovered around 10.
