Kirton and Bin Zafar have helped Canada achieve a respectable position

Nicholas Kirton played a steady hand for Canada, scoring 27 off 23 after coming in with the team in trouble. Despite looking unlikely to reach 120 at one stage, Bin Zafar's crucial cameo of 29 from 16 deliveries helped Canada's cause.

The captain then punished anything slightly loose on both sides of the wicket.
