Dutta and Bin Zafar offer a comprehensive fighting style

Having missed the first two matches of the series, Nikhil Dutta brought some stability to the innings, coming in at No 6 with Canada at a challenging 101/4 from 27 overs. Dutta looked composed throughout his innings and finished with 45 off 62. He stitched together a 31-run partnership with Harsh Thaker and a 54-run partnership with Shreyas Movva.

Dutta was run out in the 48th over, but his innings were crucial to Canada's chase of 200 when he attempted a risky single off a delivery hit straight to backward point by Bin Zafar.

Dutta was also solid with the ball, conceding only 40 runs in his 9 overs. Nepal's batters did not take any undue risks due to the lack of runs on the board.

Bin Zafar played a terrific cameo, scoring 31 runs off just 15 balls, including two mighty slog sweeps for six. He tested both Sah and Sharki with the ball but was unable to make a breakthrough, finishing with figures of 10-0-42-0.
