Dilpreet Singh Bajwa Makes History with Century in Global T20 Canada

Dilpreet Singh Bajwa has made history by becoming the first Canadian cricketer to score a century in the Global T20 Canada tournament. Bajwa's unbeaten 100 included 10 fours and six sixes, achieved in just 55 balls, leading the Montreal Tigers to a 42-run victory over the Brampton Wolves.

The Montreal Tigers, who chose to bat first after winning the toss, posted a total of 166 for seven. In response, the Brampton Wolves were bowled out for 124 in the final over. Bajwa expressed his satisfaction with his performance, noting that it was his debut innings as an opener and highlighting the league's value in providing exposure for Canadian players.

At 21 years old, Bajwa plays for Centurions Cricket Club in Burnaby, B.C. The Global T20 Canada, currently in its fourth season, will continue until Sunday.
