CSK have won all three of their home games

Gaikwad received great support from Mitchell and Dube in helping CSK win the match. Mitchell, who was promoted to bat at No. 3, started well by hitting Sunil Narine for a six and a four right after the powerplay. Although they didn't always hit boundaries, the pair kept the scoreboard ticking. Between overs six to 12, they scored 44 runs - 17 singles, five doubles, two fours and one six. This was all CSK needed as the required run rate dropped below six and over.

After Mitchell's dismissal, Dube took over and continued his impressive form in IPL 2024. He hit back-to-back sixes off Varun Chakravarthy and then smashed another one over deep midwicket off Arora. Dube is currently the leading run-scorer for CSK this season with a strike rate of 193.93 against all spinners. On Monday, he further enhanced his credentials. After Dube fell, CSK quickly finished off the chase, wrapping up the game in just 17.4 overs.
