Capital win as Titans are routed for the season's lowest total
At the beginning of the fourth over, Gujarat Titans were expected to reach a total of 169. However, by the start of the sixth over, their projected score had decreased significantly to 120. Unfortunately, they were eventually bowled out for a mere 89 runs, which is their lowest-ever IPL total since joining the tournament in 2022.
Notably, four out of the six bowlers used by Delhi Capitals had an economy rate of 4.5 or less, which set up the batters for success. The Capitals won the chase in just 53 balls with six wickets to spare, moving them up to sixth place on the points table ahead of the Titans. This was due to their net run-rate improving from -0.975 to -0.074.
