Batting goes the way of Johnson

Aaron Johnson's value to the side as an explosive opener was made all the more apparent when his notable contributions in the first 10 overs resulted in much better scores than when he didn't.

When Johnson scored 74 (40) and 33 (23), Canada was on 199 and 168 respectively. When he was dismissed for 16 and 1, the team finished on 132 and 145. His success at the top of the order has had a huge impact on Canada's scoring rate, but the challenge is to find answers to score big when he's not scoring much.

Johnson's powerful batting comes with a fair amount of risk, but the potential rewards are well worth it.
