Babar Azam Joins Vancouver Knights for Global T20 Canada Debut

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is set to debut in the Global T20 Canada franchise tournament after signing with the Vancouver Knights on Saturday. The Vancouver Knights claimed victory in the tournament's inaugural edition in 2018 and were runners-up in the 2019 season.

The franchise has also retained Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, who amassed 190 runs in five matches last year. Additionally, powerful Pakistan batsman Asif Ali and fast bowler Mohammad Amir have joined the Knights.

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will make his first appearance in the tournament, signing with the Toronto Nationals.
