Australia's Emerging Talent Set for India U19 Tour
Australia is sending a 16-player squad to India for a multi-format under-19 series.
The youngest member of Australia’s U19 World Cup-winning team leads a promising group of young players who are set to gain valuable experience in subcontinent conditions during a multi-format tour of India next month.
Oliver Peake, along with fellow 2024 U19 World Cup winner Aidan O’Connor, are part of the 16-player squad that will compete in three 50-over matches and two four-day games against India’s U19 team.
Peake and O’Connor are the only players from the undefeated side that won this year’s U19 World Cup in South Africa still eligible for U19 selection. That tournament saw Australia triumph with a commanding 79-run victory over India in Benoni.
