Fast bowler Mark Wood has been selected to replace James Anderson in England's otherwise unchanged lineup for the second Test against the West Indies at Trent Bridge.
Wood rejoined the squad after Anderson retired from Tests following England's innings-and-114-run victory in the first match at Lord's. Wood, who has taken 108 wickets in 34 Tests, last played for England during their tour of India earlier this year.
The 34-year-old played a crucial role in last year's Ashes series, featuring in the final three Tests and claiming 14 wickets.
Wood will join fast bowlers Chris Woakes and Gus Atkinson, the latter having taken 12 wickets on his debut.
The second Test of the three-match series begins on Thursday. The West Indies currently hold the Botham-Richards Trophy, having won the previous series 1-0.
