The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released the schedule for England’s home international fixtures for 2025, which includes both men's and women's series.
The men’s team will face India in a five-Test series, beginning at Headingley on June 20, followed by matches at Edgbaston, Lord’s, Old Trafford, and The Oval. The women’s team will play India in five T20Is, starting at Trent Bridge on June 28, followed by a three-match ODI series, including a game at Lord’s.
August is expected to be dominated by The Hundred, after which the men’s international calendar will conclude with six white-ball matches against South Africa before travelling to Ireland for a three-match ODI series.
ECB CEO Richard Gould expressed excitement about staging both men’s and women’s series alongside each other, highlighting the success of this approach during the Ashes and Pakistan series. He highlighted the significance of India touring England, calling it a highlight of any cricket summer, and noted the competitiveness of the women’s series.
The schedule also includes a historic men’s Test match against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge from May 22-25, marking Zimbabwe’s return to Test cricket in England after more than 20 years. Gould also confirmed that India’s women’s team will return in 2026 to play England in the first-ever women’s Test match at Lord’s, which he described as a moment of real significance.
