Zimbabwe has selected four uncapped players for their upcoming one-off Test against Ireland in Belfast. Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Joylord Gumbie, and Johnathan Campbell have been named in the 15-member squad for the match scheduled from July 25-29.
Among these four, three are already part of the T20I squad for the ongoing home series against India. Veterans Craig Ervine and Sean Williams, who are not part of the T20I squad, have been retained in the Test squad, with Ervine continuing as captain.
The squad boasts significant experience in the fast-bowling department with Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani, and Richard Ngarava included for the game. This Test match marks Zimbabwe's first since their home series against the West Indies in February 2023.
