Kaleem Sana and Ammar Khalid performed exceptionally well at the start of the innings, limiting Scotland to only 28 runs in the first 10 overs. Khalid also took the wicket of Andrew Umeed, who scored eight runs off 23 balls.
Although Sana did not take any wickets in his initial spell, he played a crucial role in putting Scotland under pressure with his figures of 6-2-11-0.
