New Zealand Cricket announced the Black Caps' home schedule for the 2024-25 season today, July 17. The team will host England, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, playing a total of three Tests, six ODIs, and eight T20Is.
The season kicks off on November 28 in Christchurch with the first Test against England. This series, which includes matches in Wellington and Hamilton, concludes a stretch of nine Tests for New Zealand, following away series against Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and India.
Following the England series, New Zealand will face Sri Lanka in three T20Is and three ODIs before heading to Pakistan for an ODI tri-series with South Africa, serving as preparation for the Champions Trophy starting on February 19.
After the Champions Trophy, New Zealand will host Pakistan for a late-summer series of five T20Is and three ODIs, concluding on April 3. This series may overlap with the yet-to-be-announced IPL 2025 schedule.
